Holden Caulfield - Eternal Youth

US District Court in New York found in favor of JD Salinger in the copyright lawsuit being waged to stop the publication of an unauthorized sequel to Catcher in the Rye. The author's lawyers re-cast the work in court documents as a "critical parody" for the sake of slipping through the fair-use provisions of US copyright law, but the judge said "No". http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/02/books/02salinger.html
